Arts Council Long Beach features 16 artists

The Arts Council for Long Beach will produce a temporary art exhibit in a 25,000 square ft. vacant building in the Bixby Knolls area of Long Beach. The exhibit is part of GLOBAL: Greater Long Beach Arts Lab in conjunction with the city’s National Arts and Humanities month. The opening will be Friday, Oct. 9 from 7pm – 10pm.

Long Beach EXPOSED will showcase the talents of emerging visual artists and will continue the dialogue about the role of alternative venues in contemporary practice. Participating artists include: James Adams, Tony Brown, Kendell Carter, Jeff Chabot, Jason Chakravarty, Gioj DeMarco, Desirée DeVirgilio, McLean Fahnestock, MLuM with Karen Crews, Melissa Ficociello, Jeff Foye and Gordon Winiemko, Karrie Hovey, Virginia Katz, Ryan Ross, Jean Robison, and Ball-Nogues Studio.
